Grandparents and Special Family Friends: please join us for Grandfriends’ Day this fall! Grandfriends’ Day will take place on Friday, October 24, 2014. Stay the weekend for our Harvest Festival the following Saturday, too!
Grandparents and special family friends are invited to visit, get to know each other and the school, and see what a special child in your life does here each day. Last year, we had attendees who traveled from at least three continents – and from just down the road.
Here’s what the day has in store for you:
- 8:30am Head’s Welcome Breakfast: Join us for coffee and breakfast with our Head of School.
- 9am The Relevance of Montessori in the 21st Century: Exploring the connections between the Montessori Method and what our children need to thrive in the modern world.
- 9:30am Classroom Time: Explore the classroom with your grandchild.
- 10:45am Students Sing: Enjoy a Singing Celebration by Children’s House, Elementary, and Adolescent Students.
We hope, next year, that you can join us – once, or even twice! That’s right – there will be a second Grandfriends’ Day this Spring – on May 1, 2015. We’ll send you an invitation early in the new year.
Thank you so much for everything you contribute to our students’ lives!
